Even though Swedish Massage is widely known for relaxation, the calming effects of a Swedish Massage can be linked to reduce anxiety and overall stress. Using a combination of long-gliding strokes, the nervous system is calmed and circulation is increased. The gliding strokes increase blood flow which bring nutrients and oxygen to tissues while assisting in the removal of built up toxins. Our Swedish Massage oil is customized and infused with Lavender, an essential oil that promotes a deep state of relaxation to enhance your well-being.
What to expect
Once you have booked the treatment of your choice, you will be able to fill out intake forms online. Upon arrival for your treatment, you will check in with the front desk and be directed to our waiting area. Your provider will greet you in the waiting area and walk you into the treatment room.
In the treatment room, your provider will review your intake form and do a verbal consultation of your overall health and treatment goals. This is done in the treatment room to fully respect your privacy and keep your information confidential. After your treatment goals are established, the therapist will explain the overall session. Then, he/she will step out of the room, to ensure your privacy, as you undress to your comfort level, and get on the table. The provider will enter when you are ready and proceed with the session.
The session will involve a variety of long gliding massage techniques. When the session has come to an end, the therapist will inform you and step out of the room for you to get dressed. The provider will be waiting for you outside the room to follow up and escort you to the front desk. At this time, you will check out with the option to book your next treatment.
A Swedish Massage can be booked for 50 minutes, 80 minutes or for 110 minutes.
